Shelters United is a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) exclusively for nonprofit animal welfare organizations (AWOs). Shelters United works closely with a major veterinary distributor and animal health product manufacturers to provide significant bolthires savings, as they carry out their important nonprofit animal welfare missions. This individual will be part of a specialized sales team responsible for recruiting nonprofit AWOs- animal shelters, rescue orgs, spay/neuter clinics and other similar organizations- to the GPO and then selling products and services from partner companies to our members.
Shelters United is a fully remote company. The work, onboarding and training will take place via your company provided computer. We are in search of a talented, successful, self-motivated and driven Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced phone-based environment. Our ideal candidate must have a proven successful history of achieving sales goals, building strong customer relationships, and the ability to deliver consistent high numbers of phone, e-mail and other contact activities. 1. Ability to sell a wide variety of products used by AWOs 3. Achieve High outreach volume of at least 55-70 calls per day with email follow up 4. Account management 5. Accurately capture and update information about leads, prospects and customers in Salesforce 6. Consistently working to expand product knowledge To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following basic competencies required for making outbound phone-based sales: · Reaching decision makers · Closing sales · Generating referrals from existing customers · Time management – maximizing sales time · Success in selling remotely from your home with minimal supervision · Motivated, positive and strong team player · Strong Communication Skills · Strong Listening Skills · Rapport building · Customer Service skills · Strong computer skills · Veterinary Pharmaceutical and/or Pet Product sales experience required · Animal Shelter and/or pet rescue experience preferred · Sales experience w/ excellent phone etiquette, impeccable written/spoken grammar is a must · Salesforce.com or similar customer relationship management software experience · bolthires Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint · Computer proficiency · College degree preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
