Senior Power BI Developer will lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced Power BI solutions, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting initiatives. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, semantic data models, and datasets using Azure SQL in the current environment • Apply advanced DAX calculations and modeling techniques to deliver complex reporting requirements • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), data governance standards, and visualization best practices • Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard performance issues, tune queries and datasets for scalability and responsiveness • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into actionable, high-quality Power BI solutions • Maintain documentation, version control (Git, Azure DevOps), and structured handoff materials for internal use • Facilitate knowledge transfer and mentoring sessions with internal team members to build Power BI and DAX capability • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks for accuracy, integrity, and security of BI deliverables • Support the timely delivery of executive and operational dashboards aligned to business priorities Skills • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent professional experience • 5+ years of professional Power BI development experience in enterprise environments • Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and relational/dimensional data modeling • Strong experience working with Azure SQL, including performance-tuned queries and optimized data integration • Proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade dashboards with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and governance • Experience implementing and maintaining Row-Level Security (RLS) and BI governance practices • High attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Demonstrated experience mentoring junior BI developers and contributing to team skill development • Familiarity with Agile BI development and cross-functional collaboration across distributed teams • Knowledge of performance tuning for large-scale enterprise BI systems • Skilled with scripting languages (Python, R) for data automation and advanced analytics Benefits • Wellness & Fitness: Take advantage of our on-site CrossFit-style gym, featuring a full-time personal trainer dedicated to helping you reach your fitness goals.
