Job Description: Please find below β’ Passionate about game development and has a strong background in mathematics for collision detection and velocity physics. β’ Implement mathematics algorithms for collision detection and physics simulations. β’ Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to create game mechanics and features. β’ Optimize game performance for different platforms and devices.
β’ Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to junior developers. β’ Research and implement emerging game development technologies and techniques. β’ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices. β’ Experience integrating game environments with back-end systems and APIs (nice-to-have) β’ Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field. β’ Relevant coursework in Mathematics for Game Developers and Physics for GameDevelopers. β’ Excellent mathematics skills for game development, including collision detectionalgorithms, physics simulations for velocity and motion, vector and matrix operations,and trigonometry and calculus for game mechanics.
β’ Experience with game engines/frameworks such as Phaser, CreateJS, or similarGood understanding ofCSS3 and JS Animation frameworks like Greenshok / AnimJS to support 2D game development - GOOD TO HAVEKnowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns. β’ Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. β’ Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. β’ Effective communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. β’ Experience implementing mathematics algorithms for collision detection and physics simulations.
