We are an established e-commerce brand working with non-exclusive apparel manufacturers. A competitor has recently made an allegation that we paid or solicited their employees for product designs. This allegation is false, and we are seeking an experienced IP / trade secrets attorney to advise us on the correct response and assess any legal risk. This is a strategy and advisory engagement, not litigation. Context: - We have never paid, solicited, or communicated with any competitor employees - We did not receive or use competitor tech packs, patterns, or confidential materials - We asked non-exclusive factories whether they could independently create a certain style, which they routinely do for multiple brands -
