Senior Transportation Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading our California-based transportation operations, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional results. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans, leveraging your expertise in transportation, logistics, and operations management.
Your primary focus will be on optimizing our transportation network, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage our California-based transportation operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction. * Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. * Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement process changes. * Manage and optimize our transportation network, leveraging data analytics and technology to drive decision-making.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with our 3PL partners, ensuring seamless execution and mutual benefits. * Lead and manage a team of transportation professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities. * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centricity. Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, and operations management, with a strong focus on leadership and strategy. * Proven track record of driving business growth, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. * Strong expertise in transportation management, logistics, and supply chain management. * Experience with 3PL management and negotiation. * Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on adaptability and flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. * Experience with data analytics and technology, including transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. * Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. * Experience with process improvement and change management. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) or multilingual skills. * Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
