Synchronoss Technologies is a global leader in personal Cloud solutions, and they are seeking an experienced Global Payroll Specialist to join their Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will manage payroll processing for multi-state and multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations while streamlining payroll processes. Responsibilities β’ Manage payroll processing for multi states, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll β’ Manage payroll processing for multiple countries, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees in the global workforce β’ Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and other legal requirements for payroll in multiple countries, staying up to date with changes in legislation β’ Oversee the gathering, processing, and verification of payroll data across various regions.
Ensure payroll data integrity, accuracy, and consistency β’ Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance the employee experience β’ Generate and analyze payroll reports, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding payroll metrics, budgeting, and forecasting β’ Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations, including providing guidance and resolving issues as needed β’ Oversee relationships with third-party payroll vendors, ensuring services meet company requirements and performance standards β’ Support the implementation and maintenance of global payroll systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, UKG/Immedis International Payroll system, DEEL, and Workday) and assist with system upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting β’ Lead internal and external audits of payroll records, ensuring compliance with both local and international standards β’ Handle escalated payroll queries from employees, providing support in a timely and efficient manner Skills β’ 5+ years of experience in payroll, US payroll (ADP) required β’ Experience managing payroll in multi state (US), including the understanding of multi state payroll tax laws, benefits, and compliance requirements β’ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience) β’ Expertise in payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, UKG/Immedis International Payroll system, DEEL, Workday) β’ Proficiency in Excel and payroll reporting tools β’ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills β’ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization β’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment β’ High attention and quality to detail and accuracy β’ A minimum of 2 years of global / international payroll experience β’ Experience managing payroll in multiple countries, including the understanding of multi-country payroll tax laws, benefits, and compliance requirements β’ Certified Payroll
