Job Description
Manning Kass is a national civil litigation defense firm that specializes in landlord and tenant issues. The role involves representing landlords and property management companies in litigation related to building safety and health code issues, with a focus on strategic thinking and achieving client goals. Responsibilities Attending court hearings, participating in site inspections, taking and defending depositions Drafting extensive written discovery, including preparing and responding to interrogatories, documents requests and request for admissions Evaluating, analyzing, assessing, and executing litigation strategies Proactively manage communications with clients throughout the course of litigation Skills Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting 1+ years of civil litigation experience Excellent time management skills and ability to manage and meet deadlines Benefits
