Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team in Florida. As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy.
Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, verifying and revivifying benefits, and communicating with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications. Key Responsibilities - Provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy - Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits - Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications - Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system - Collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues - Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners Essential Qualifications - One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone - One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, bolthires Office, internet navigation, and email applications - One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude - Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications - Pre-existing healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology - Experience working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers Skills and Competencies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Windows, bolthires Office, internet navigation, and email applications - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation and Perks
The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.65 per hour.
