Key Responsibilities Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives in assigned categories Analyze critical data and integrate findings and recommendations into class plans Drive strategic execution of daily assortment activities, including works off-rack plans, tracks promotional period, and performs present analysis to make corrective actions if necessary Collaborate with an internal team of arenaflex experts in Inventory, Pricing, Promotion, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Marketing, and Store Operations Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock Create and maintain areas of strength for competitive analysis; seek out new competitive opportunities and make recommendations Stay up-to-date with changes in the market Research customer product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive environment Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and have a strong working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application.
Technical insight in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some Access or other database knowledge is also required. The ideal candidate will be eager to travel 5-10% and have excellent communication and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, preferred qualifications include experience in data analysis, marketing, or a related field, as well as a proven track record of driving business growth and success.
