About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive superior support across multiple lines of business.
Your primary responsibility will be to address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and courteous manner, utilizing various customer contact channels. Key Responsibilities Resolve coordination of benefits inquiries by analyzing patient activity, including enrollment, third-party liability, and claims attachments.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverage, interpreting and communicating accurate information to customers. Thoroughly document all customer interactions, ensuring detailed records are maintained. Educate customers and dental professionals on eligibility, benefits, claims payment, authorizations, and the usage and benefits of self-service tools. Assist members in gaining access to care by locating network dentists or assigning primary care dentists. Direct inquiries to necessary departments or individuals when the resolution of the inquiry is beyond the scope of this role.
Respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, providing accurate information to resolve all member and provider inquiries through verbal and written communications. Research and resolve internal and external complex customer inquiries, taking ownership of the resolution and setting expectations for follow-up. Ensure resubmissions, stop payments, and voids are appropriately handled, meeting or exceeding individual, department, and client-specific goals. Understand and adhere to all client administrative and contractual policies and procedures, suggesting ways to improve service delivery processes.
Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or Equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment. Experience in the healthcare or a related industry is preferred. The ability to multi-task using multiple applications simultaneously. Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to operate a computer and knowledge of bolthires Office applications. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced production environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued: Medical/Dental terminology knowledge and experience. Medicare/Medicaid knowledge.
