About the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to in Arizona, focusing on building critical infrastructure to support our vast content investment. The successful candidate will utilize their analytical expertise to drive business insights, working closely with our content finance groups to shape the future of our business intelligence ecosystem. As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for constructing reports and visualizations to support finance teams, understanding and owning our financial data to connect datasets across our studio ecosystem, and collaborating with product managers and non-technical stakeholders to translate business questions into meaningful reports and insights.
Key Responsibilities Construct reports and visualizations to support finance teams, ensuring data-driven decision-making and strategic business navigation. Comprehend and possess our financial data, connecting datasets across our studio ecosystem to provide a unified view of our content investment. Work with SQL, Hive, Flash, Voila, Python, and other tools to drive analysis and insights, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Develop and monitor errors and alerts to ensure data quality and integrity, collaborating with engineering teams to prioritize and develop our connected data model.
Partner with product managers and non-technical stakeholders to translate business questions into meaningful reports and insights, driving business outcomes and growth. Essential Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a data analyst role, with a proven track record of driving business insights and strategic decision-making. Technical skills with a strong handle on SQL and Python, as well as experience with dashboarding platforms like Tableau, Dashbuilder, and Looker. Ability to work with large datasets, analyzing and interpreting complex data to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and opportunities for growth.
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data quality, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner with non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with data modeling fundamentals, working with ETL, and LookML, as well as familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools. Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial and operational data, as well as the ability to communicate complex insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
