The Technical Product Designer will play a crucial role in building strong business understanding and relationships to enable the delivery of technology solutions that deliver the expected business value in the spirit of the Agile Scrum Philosophy. The primary responsibilities of this position include handling a robust technical understanding of the product, prioritizing features according to business value, and composing detailed customer stories ready for development.
The Technical Product Designer will also participate in Sprint functions like Initiation, Future State, Alignment, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Customer Story Refinement. Key Responsibilities Conduct complex and detailed analysis of existing processes, systems, and desired objectives to meet the goals/purpose of the assigned products. Collaborate with Product Manager, and SMEs to prioritize feature development based on business value. Elicit and create initial stories/features and elaborate into customer scenarios that clearly describe the functional and non-functional requirements.
Communicate business requirements via artifacts, such as epics, features, scenarios, acceptance criteria-based customer stories, process flows, wireframe prototypes, link diagrams, mockups/demos, and more. Work with a multi-functional team within a Scrum framework. Lead work sessions and report new features, requirements, and techniques. Oversight of testing, bug tracking, improvements while ensuring issues are resolved before promoting to production environments. Able to work on multiple projects and balance constantly evolving priorities.
Use data and analysis to drive decision-making and support process-driven solutions. Develop business logic and key metrics for integration into decision support models and tools. Build problem statements, including problem description and improvement measures. Drill down past the problem surface to understand root cause. Presenting recommendations and supporting data to determine strong, logical, and justifiable business reasons. Provide guidance to project planning and effort estimation within scope.
Support the identification of risks and mitigation approaches. Ability to collaborate with, as well as develop and maintain internal customer relationships with specialty unit leaders. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: 3 years of hands-on experience as a project manager, product owner, or similar. Knowledge of Agile philosophy principles and the ability to apply suitable Agile methodologies in software development and delivery processes. Understanding of product features and the ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from feasibility through to production.
Knowledge of tools, techniques, and procedures of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze, and document expected business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong training and organizational skills, excellent verbal, written communication, and service skills. Perform satisfactorily in the present position. Consistently prioritize the safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Preferred Qualifications To have an upper hand, you should have: Strong understanding of Integrated/SDLC development approaches. DevOps experience, including the use of Enterprise Agile planning solutions like Agility.Al or similar. Past experience as a Product Owner, including ownership for its development and implementation. Flexibility to adapt and anticipate changing business objectives. Airline industry experience, as well as business process re-engineering and/or extensive experience working with Agile teams, is desirable.
