Job Overview As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for coordinating planes on the ground, handling freight and baggage, and ensuring that our ground operations run efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Offer friendly assistance to and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our organization Load, unload, service, guide, and direct arenaflex aircraft Receive and record customer baggage, air cargo, mail, and company materials as required Handle all aspects of loading, stowing, and unloading baggage, cargo, airmail, and company materials according to a predetermined plan Operate and drive mechanized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tractors, and de-icers Physically move around push trucks and containers Work on and between passenger terminals, concourses, and airfreight facilities, both inside and outside May be exposed to a wide range of weather conditions, noise, and equipment fumes for extended periods Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Ability to work in a team environment and under stressful conditions Capacity to understand documents, follow instructions, learn and comprehend ramp operations techniques, rules, and regulations Awareness of hazardous situations and ability to handle emergencies as needed Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve rapid turns of aircraft Valid state driver's license Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, aviation, or a related field Knowledge of ground operations procedures and regulations Experience operating mechanized equipment, such as belt loaders and lift trucks Ability to speak multiple languages Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and withstand various weather conditions
