Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Advocate Phone Specialist to in a fully remote capacity within the state of Arizona.
As a customer service representative, you will play a vital role in providing inbound phone support to our healthcare customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner. Your expertise will be essential in clarifying various aspects of our healthcare services, including contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, programs, and provider networks. Key Responsibilities Identify, research, process, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding their healthcare services and benefits Consult and coordinate with internal departments, external plans, providers, businesses, and government agencies to obtain information and ensure resolution of customer inquiries Document and record facts related to inquiries and correspondence by updating arenaflex files and systems Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of required arenaflex systems, procedures, forms, and manuals Meet quality, quantity, and timeliness standards to achieve individual and department performance goals Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you should possess: At least one year of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field High School diploma or GED Intermediate PC proficiency Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy Strong active listening skills to achieve high customer satisfaction Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience in a remote or call center environment Knowledge of healthcare insurance products and services Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software Certifications in customer service or healthcare-related fields Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you should possess: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to navigate multiple system applications and gather data Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
