Job Overview As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing empathetic and professional support to our customers via phone, chat, and/or video chat. Your primary focus will be on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. You will leverage your critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities to resolve customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary. This is a seasonal contract that runs through April 15th, 2024, with flexible schedule opportunities that allow you to create your own schedule and work at times that suit you best.

Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat, focusing on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments Utilize critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities to resolve customer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary Work in a fast-paced environment, navigating multiple systems and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional tone, ensuring a positive experience and resolving issues efficiently Meet or exceed key metrics, including customer satisfaction and resolution rates, to earn peak rates and bonuses Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess a sincere desire to assist customers, be tech-savvy, and have excellent communication skills.

You should be able to multi-task, navigate multiple systems, and communicate with a friendly tone and professional demeanor. Additionally, you must have a personal computer, broadband internet connection, and a quiet, uninterrupted workspace. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer support, preferably in a tax software or financial services environment Strong knowledge of tax software products and navigation Experience working in a remote or home-based environment Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

You should be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Technical Requirements Personal computer (no tablet) with Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system Broadband internet connection, recommended at least 10 MBPS Wired internet connection (no wi-fi or mobile internet) Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date USB headset with microphone A webcam will be loaned to each contractor for the duration of the contract
